What is a URL?

Abbreviation of Uniform Resource Locator, the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web.

The first part of the address is called a protocol identifier and it indicates what protocol to use, and the second part is called a resource name and it specifies the IP Address or the Domain Name where the resource is located. The protocol identifier and the resource name are separated by a colon and two forward slashes.

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR FUNDRAISING URL TO YOUR CHOSEN BANNER AD(S).

Once you paste your "hyperlinked banner ad(s)" into e-mails, newsletters, blogs, etc. always double check that your URL is correct. To do this, simply take your mouse and touch anywhere on the banner ad (no click needed) and you will see the hyperlink appear on your screen.  

In addition, once you place the banner ads (with your URL connected as explained above) onto your website(s), your blogs, your e-mails and so forth, you will be giving people access to the online store so they can shop and you will automatically get credit for every click-thru'd link for your school!
